We always pick a suitable strong person from history, god or goddess names for our pets. We pick something that fits their personality and something that they "Actually" answer to lol.

I knew a couple that named their dog Debris, ( pronounced debree ). They said it sounded a lot better than garbage.
 
We had a cat, and then later a dog, named Brio. It's a musical term that instructs musicians to play with a bright and lively energy. It sounded so upbeat and full of happy life that I would wish it on anyone, and did.
