Moab Utah McDonalds had a sign out yesrerday offering $13 an hour to start. Denny's in Moab was also desparate for all positions, had to wait to be seated with over 20 tables empty.

So.... I find it funny that the vendors are always in need for camphosts, other help but still screen or critique the " rigs" we use and live in..... It seems that they only want the expensive , late model vehicles and affluent people, for " blue collar" jobs. Most of these job positions are in logistically challenging places that are hard to get to and get supplies easily. My point being is that even though they pay $12.00/ hr "for hours worked" , you end up not even breaking even on your expenses for working the position.... NOT WORTH IT!

Which is probably one of the reasons they're always looking for camp hosts. I suspect the percentage who work more than one season is very low.

"energetic adventure seeking soul" says it all.
