Is anyone selling a good running minivan in Ohio around the St. Clairsville area or there abouts? Most of what I am finding is junk with missing windows and rotting tires. I've got a budget of about $3000 to $3500. Thanks.

The only suggestion I have is to check Craigslist often. When a decent Van comes up they get snapped up quickly so you need to be ready to go see it, evaluate and then buy. Not always possible but as I said the better ones and even the not so good one's get snatched up quick.

You might consider something along the lines of a Honda Pilot. A very decent vehicle and known to be fairly reliable. Craiglist shows a private owner 2007 in Martins Ferry.

Best of luck to you.

I'm just rambling..........I see people all the time wanting mini vans to live in and I absolutely get the stealth aspect but there are so many places you can stop without having to be stealth.

I bought my 1987 Nissan Odyssey RV less than an hour north of St Clairsville. I paid $3k for it. It's a Nissan so the mechanicals are still in great shape. It had 48,000 miles on it. Overall it was decent. I had to put tires on it and fix a few leaks but nothing major. It's not going to get as good of gas mileage as a mini van but it's comfortable to stay in and I didn't have to pay to add anything to do it make it liveable. Insurance cost me $10 a month.

Expand the possibilities.
