I thought I'd entertain myself with some LED light replacements, and so far the results have been pretty mixed. The map light is now a bright, cold white, which is ok for its purpose. The first one I tried was a pleasant color but much too dim. The stove light is now a rather dim cold light, which is actively unpleasant and useless. I want to replace the overhead bulbs, which are 1141 - my husband says 1156 will work as well - they're a standard 3/4" or so bayonet with two attachment bumps and one connection at the base. I don't want to waste my money on bulbs that are either really dim or too blue, the hope was brighter but warm, like the 110 LEDs I'm using in regular lamps. Anyone have any pointers or favorite LED bulb that looks appealing and also saves some wattage?
