"Currently, BLM-managed lands in Arizona are open, including campgrounds, day-use areas, and trails. Existing rules and regulations apply. Entrance and day use fees have been waived. Other fees, such as overnight camping, cabin rentals, group day use, and use of special areas will remain in effect. BLM lands remain available for dispersed camping and other outdoor recreation activities, unless otherwise prohibited".

"Currently, the La Posa North, South, West, and Tyson Wash LTVAs south of Quartzsite, Arizona, and Imperial Dam LTVA in California, remain open to the public, but are currently at maximum capacity. Dispersed camping areas near the LTVAs are also full".

"the Bureau of Land Management will temporarily suspend the collection of all entrance fees until further notice".

I am close to Scaddan Wash in Q.
Nice weather, almost no campers in the interior.

Starting to warm up, I am heading north tomorrow to higher elevations

I think the BLM may be trying to discourage people from leaving the cities and coming here to boondock. We're camping in Roadrunner BLM and there are hardly any people here. Went into Quartzsite a few days ago and passed La Posa South and La Posa West. They're a little fuller than you'd expect at this time of year but nowhere near full capacity.

I was wondering about that. RVerTV has a recent video with his drone flying over the Dome Rock area, and it looked empty. Are there hosts still on duty? Eg, at Roadrunner? How did the tractor trailer traffic look on I-10? Commerce deliveries flowing?

I am at La Posa South, and there are few people still here. It's nowhere NEAR full. Neither are any of the dispersed areas at Kofa. People are leaving daily, and the out flow outnumbers the inflow.

Hosts have been out of a job for a good week. While the vault toilets are still open, you need to bring your own paper, no one is keeping them stocked. But I did see a big pumper truck a couple days ago, and toilets are still pretty clean.

Make sure you are well setup for boondocking in case they stop all services. At Roadrunner you can drive 1 1/2 miles in from the entrance towards Old Yuma Rd, to where there is enough privacy to use catholes.
