Is what I use for my laptop off 12v. Works well and there is no fan running like there would be if I was using an inverter.
You'll need to find the one (or a universal) that fits your laptop (volts, amps & the diameter of the plug).

With the exception of the nearly-new laptop I bought from Gunny (RIP), I have never owned a PC or laptop that was less than 3 years old.

The box I am writing this on is from 2008.  Running linux and with maxxed RAM (16GB) it still rips.  Even hardcore computation like compiling, video/audio editing works fine.
