We're traveling through Canada with no phone access and no internet expect for WiFi hotspots so I've been playing around on our kindle. The text is tiny and it will not open a second page so links don't work everytime but I've been able to post on forums and read blogs. I can't access hotmail but it does allow access to gmail and yahoo. The good thing about it is that it's completely free and uses 3G which is widely available in southern Canada so there's no need to be completeydisconnected or to buy an expensive plan if you're visiting for a short time.
