I'm going to be torturing that trailer on BLM, tribal and other, rough terrain.
I'm guessing 6 ply radials? Are there any with heavy tread, more for off road situations?
I need strong sidewalls, tires that last at least three years.
I won't usually be driving more than two hundred miles every couple of weeks.
I'm staying in the Southwest, changing elevation with the seasons.
I have heavy,  rubber mats i drive them on to for UV protection,as well as shading sidewalls.
Most heat will come from desert, not from driving.
Pretty sure they're 16", if i remember.
I don't care about status symbols.
But i want the most trustworthy tires on the planet.
I'm a disabled elder and this is my HOME!
And most likely, my future coffin.
I need to do this right.
I can eat marked down and food pantry crap and make it taste gourmet.
But i am NOT pinching pennies on my KICKS!

If you had your choice of 4 dream tires, money no object, what would you choose?

10 ply as a minimum. 3 days ago I bought 2, I got 14 ply all steel. I usually run LT tires as I have very poor results with trailer tires. This set of 14 ply is a test set. I wouldn't even run 6 ply on pavement. Highdesertranger

10 ply and good 10 ply at that! 10 ply on truck and camper and yes the price is a killer :) but worth it, heck we pay like $300 a friggin' tire :(
