Check this organization out. They feature a little info and some directions in their newsletter on where these "grassroots art pieces" are. "Grassroots Art" refers to sculptures, buildings, art in (usually) public places, buildings, homes, etc. Everyone knows about "Carhenge" in Texas, right? All the Cadillacs buried nose down in a field...? That's Grassroots Art.

I highly recommend a visit to Lucas, Kansas. We didn't have time to see the Grassroots Art Center but we did stop for the Garden of Eden and Bowl Plaza which is the most creatively beautiful restroom that I've seen.
