My partner and I are very thankful to be joining all of you wonderful folks. We are very grateful to Bob and his video channel for inspiration and guidance. We also appreciate the many others who also have posted content online for the benefit of all.

Being new to this way of life we are looking forward to the RTR and meeting with every one there. Hoping for a job of some sort also. We are retired. Actually Linda is retired but I am just semi retired. We love to do the unconventional thing. We have spent the last several months acquiring hands on cob house building experience in lew of rent where we are staying. I have done quite a lot of hitchhiking and enjoy that way of traveling, but age is catching up with me.

What a blessing this is. We have a T&C 2001 minivan. Might seem small, especially with 2 adults, but its what we have and what we are hitting the road with. See ya'll on the way.

Peace to all,

Michael

Welcome to you and Linda!  I have found the forum to be very helpful along the way.  Best to you in your travels!

Constructing a simple dwelling, mobile or fixed, is not so odd. What is odd is that it is so now in America. Thankfully we get the best parts of what is left.

One skill I’ve picked up on the road is van dweller feng shue, what is outside is the most important space.

Hi Michael and Linda and welcome. Best of luck to you both. Hope to hear more about and from ya!
