My LiFePO4 battery has a BMS as well.

I have to work full time and I'm going to have to leave my Li battery charging most days.

I'm going to need to use it everyday anyway, so I need it charged to 100% everyday.

Is it okay to let it do this?

I would suggest that the manufacturer would be the best to ask.

What else would you do with a store (energy) and use device? The recommendation that a LiFePo4 be discharged to about half charge before long term storage might give you some cause to be concerned but that recommendation appears based on theoretical grounds and excludes any consideration of cycle life. A BMS prevents damage due to over charging and permanent failure due to over discharge. The only other thing to consider is that the latest advice on charging profiles for LiFePo4 is to charge then disconnect (electronically) rather than go to float.

Thank you for the advice, much appreciated. I will take that last sentence into consideration.

Nothing beats someone talking from experience. Thanks mate, now I'm happy I've found the right answer.

It may be the answer you are looking for but it really depends on the manufacturers BMS system. The manufacturer of your battery is the real answer you are after. Not all manufacturers are created equal.

My LiFePO4 battery cost more than my campervan (okay I'm exaggerating a little bit), but it was expensive, so I expect it to have a BMS built like a super computer.
