Saw this cool little device on another website...

I think this is an outstanding idea for a safe stash!...altho, I'd be tempted to make a cover to hide the combination numbers by making a filp down cover plate. You could put a foosball team logo on it, a Harley shield...or the CheapRVLiving LOGO!!!!

Nobody would ever look in there for your schtuff!!!

(sorry....no links to who makes it, or where it can be found) Anyone????

I like the trailer safe idea, unique. How does it stay dry inside though?

Yesterday in a store I saw a T-shirt safe. Looks like a t-shirt, but the front velcros' down to reveal pockets for money, etc. Put it under a shirt have a couple of t-shirts hang under other shirts and hidden in plain site.

Ain't no way my cash is going in my reese hitch. A spare key, maybe. My cash and cards, nada.

Here is a note: Separate your money in small amounts and in different areas. IE All your eggs in one basket.

Don't have large sums of money. The po po thinks bad and does bad things when they find over a grand or even several hundred on you. I have cards, but am a cash man. It helps me stay on a budget.

I saw the hitch on facebook. Seemed like a good short term idea. At least till it got plastered all over the web. LOL

Hmmmmm.................interesting, but no. I did previously see that same product, but can't imagine myself using it. Where I park my vehicle, everything will get damp and may develop some corrosion. That can't be good for credit cards with magnetic strips. I have multiple sizes of gun vaults that use keys along with built-in electronic push button PIN number locks that I prefer to use instead. I use the gun vaults to store keys and other stuff. The larger models are a bit pricey around $150, but are built solid. They also make smaller slim models too at a lower cost.

I must say, that I wasn't considering using this EVERY DAY...but for more like when I go for a hike or a swim.

A few hours at best...short term
