Old age has a knack for having us re-learning that we're human beings instead of human doings. It's a steep learning curve for some of us and society doesn't do much to help. Many of us have never spent much time learning how to grieve and there's certainly some grief involved in getting older.
Please be patient, gentle and compassionate with yourself as you re-learn your value. I'll enjoy meeting you when our paths cross!!
 
Well Mike, welcome to the club. 

After stroke recovery is a matter of self determination. Still there. 

I remember you helping me get my 318 back together in Ehrenberg. It still is frustrating knowing that the knowledge and skill was there, but a brain fart moved the pathways away from where they were. 

Come  by YARC CAMP where expectations are non existent and acceptance is learned. 

I still am ruled by the cat, but am in a different situation and rig.

After my little stroke almost two years ago, a medical social worker told me that experiencing depression post stroke is so universally common that it is considered a symptom.

Get up, keep going, it does get better.
