I'M DESPERATE AND NEED HELP

:huh:  I HAVE A FAMILY MEMBER STRANDED AT SANFORD AIRPORT IN ORLANDO FL SINCE 3pm TODAY.

IS ANYONE IN THAT AREA ?  IT IS UNKNOWN TO ME. JUST A RIDE TO A WESTERN UNION AND THEY WILL BE GOOD TO GO.  THEY SAY WORKERS ARE NOT HAPPY THEY ARE THERE & THEY DON'T EVEN HAVE $$ FOR A CUP OF COFFEE........THEY WILL NOT EVEN GIVE DIRECTIONS TO THE CLOSET WESTERN UNION TO THEM..........WHAT JERKS.  

ANY IDEAS........ I'M OPEN TO SUGGESTIONS

I assume you want to send money to them.  You can use this site:

to find locations near you and near the airport.  I think they also list hours.

I would assume they could take a cab and have the cab wait while they ran in to get the money.

Thanks guys.  I've been on the phone and internet since 6pm.  I became worried when my email wasn't answered from them and WU said the $$ hadn't been picked up.  Of course later I learned that I was having the pages done at the wrong airport. 

 I wish I was closer to help them.  The way Sanford airport employees are acting if I was you guys would probably need to start me a "Bail Money Fund For Jewellann"

The chicken strip and 1/2 of a roll I had today is wearing off,  so now I can eat quickly before the next round of calls.   I'm a Baaaaaad diabetic.

I've been confused by the dual Orlando airports as well. Sanford and the Orlando international airport (MCO)

Freaking Orlando throws off my sense of direction so badly. My compass points to large bodies of water, with the gulf on one side, the Atlantic on the other side, and lakes everywhere, and I-4 running almost north to south instead of east to west as all even numbered interstates do, My sense of direction is thrown all out of whack.

No not yet.....I can't even get correct info on the nearest Western Union to Sanford Airport.  There is money  there waiting however if they take a cab & if WU not open it could get ugly if no$$ to pay the cab.  He's tired, sick, hungry and $$$ he needs is so close. I asked if there was a lounge where he could stretch out and he said no just sitting in chairs. 

 Situations like this is why I drive everywhere,  basically if the bridge ain't built I ain't going.  
If it was a 5hr drive I'd have been on the road already.  As  it is by the time I learned of the problem It was to late for me to go down there and get there before things open up any way. I'm up by Ft Rucker AL

Do you know how/where the closest Western Union is to Sanford Airport?

Any ideas or help is greatly appreciated.

Do they have a bank card that you could transfer or deposit money? Then they could use the ATM. Google maps show many western union offices outside the air port. I transferred money to my son using a service in the CVS drug store.

Thanks everyone for your info,links and suggestions.  It is being resolved as of 11am this morning.

I'm still frustrated with Greyhound.  After contacting the main office in TX the 2nd time I was again given a ph.# that the depot in Orlando does not answer. Then TX couldn't even get a hold of them however they assured me Orlando bus depot was open 24/7. 

 I found some places in Orlando that are a western union what-ever-you call-them called Am Scot, I spoke to them and they were very helpful and gave directions for cab to them and the location I spoke to said they are only 5min by car to Greyhound.

Just waiting for the next problem.   I was 13ys the last time I traveled by bus and 14ys when I flew from L.A. CA  home to TX.  Where I stayed until I was 16 and got my first car before I did anymore wandering.
