Hey everybody! I'm Kat. I'm almost 30. And I'm a hermit crab. But I'm trying to be less crabby...

I have dreamed of living the nomadic life for about four years now, but have just recently decided to make the leap. My lease is ending, I've got some cash saved up, and it just feels right. I've been doing a lot of research and I'll be posting a few questions soon.

But this post is for saying hi and telling you about how great I am, right? Right. I'm a nerd, a knitter, a vegetarian, a crazy cat lady, and ever-so-slightly socially awkward. I'm a highly sensitive person. I love swimming, sharp cheeses, symphonies, and singing. (I can sing with my mouth closed!)

I tend to hermit a lot, seldom "hanging out" with friends. I'm happier communicating through the internet. And I'm only crabby half the time. Really. The other half, I'm asleep. (I kid, I kid. I'm nice. Mostly.)

Anyway, I'll be taking off and joining this crazy mixed-up beautiful nomadic tribe in about one month's time. I can't wait! Oh man, my life is going to be SO amazing.
