Today was a great day to buy the bed for my van!! 20% off on beds over 150 until Oct 9.

If you wanna go cheaper, buy it off Craigslist around the time most college seniors/grad students move out of their apartments around June.

I have a Tarva full sized bed frame and the slatted mattress base. We cut the legs off the frame, but left the headboard in place. I like to sit up and read and use computer devices and I didn't want to lean against the cold doors.

It's very comfortable for this old back.

I'm so glad you posted this.  I tried sleeping on the bifold rear set/bed in the Safari.  The bed seemed to short for me side to side.  So it's coming out.  When i read this post i remembered that I have a queen size bookcase head board in storage.  It's real wood so ez to cut down and if it works I'll  have book shelves and a place to lean also   I spend a lot of time sitting up in bed reading, watching movies and computering around
