I'm taller than your average in need of vehicle choices.
Seven foot? At this point I'm thinking Box Truck.

Shaw lives in the adjoining city to me here in Gwinnett County Georgia and he drives a big black Chevrolet Suburban SUV. He's also worth a few million dollars.

I'd say more than a few mil! What are your plans Gil? A full time vehicle or will you be using for outings.

I agree with Ballenxj if it's a *vehicle* you want. Some 5th wheel and toy hauler travel trailers have the height to their advantage.

There are 36" high tops available but in the open market they are extremely rare. Better off finding the vehicle of your choice and having the high top added.

I have a standing height of 6'1" in the GMC Savana with a 24" high top with approximately 2" in flooring and ceiling materials so as long as you were careful with floor and ceiling finishing the 36" would do it.

I'm not sure if any of the commercially built RVs/trailers would give you that standing height...maybe some of the newer high end ones but again, finding them would be rare.

That could be a tax deduction for business advertising.

Wish I was younger and not so broken... ;)

The new Ford Transits (not the Connect models) with the highest high top option might be enough.
If you go the the Ford site you can build one and see the specs. Nice vehicles too.

I have a High Roof Transit and even though I think it does currently have the most head room in the cargo are I still don't think someone 7' tall could stand without bending over a little. I would have to measure and check. But after putting in some insulation and some sort of ceiling material you would lose a few inches.

I would think some sort of box truck as well or even a step van. You will have to get a little creative.

I think the 'ceiling' is high enuff in this one!

Take out the seats and add a bed and fridge..... and a campstove...

A bed with a canopy might be nice when it rains...

:p

I've been helping 7wanders a little with his step van. He's 6'6". I don't think it's quite 7' tall, but he can stand up straight and has a few inches to spare. It might be close enough for you. We built his bed across the back with a storage garage underneath. After furring, insulation, etc, the bed platform is 82 1/2" wide. But it's a Queen size so you could sleep diagonally. Or you could build a custom length bed down the side. His is a large step van, but in reality it's no bigger overall than my crew cab dually. So it's not too difficult to drive, even in town.

If you want to go for a trailer instead of a van, I know cargo trailers can be ordered from the factory with up to 24" of extra height over the standard 6'.  There is an active sub-forum devoted to home conversion of cargo trailers over on the Teardrops and Tiny Travel Trailers site, where you can see many hundreds of such trailers that have been converted to living/camping spaces.  Plenty of ideas there.

BTW, I am 6'7" inches and I once met someone who was 6'9".  It really threw me for a loop - first and only time I ever met someone taller than myself.  Looking forward to bumping into you on the road someday.
