I found a cot that will work for my small space

I was dreading to act of building a DIY wooden platform bed of 2x2 lumber and plywood and the extended winter weather had held up this project.

Last night while searching for a cot I actually found one that will fit my space concerns and weights just 21 pounds.

It can be set up to lay flat or recline at the head of the cot and fold upright or fold flat the section for your feet to be able to use the porta potty stored underneath.

My understanding is you can fold the feet flat. If that is the case, you could pick up the whole thing with bedding and pillow and prop it against the wall like a Murphy bed. Or it could be attached to the ceiling. That looks like a nice cot.

Nice looking cot and hope it works for you. I could never sleep in it since I'm a belly sleeper and I flip and flop all night. I'd end up on the floor.

And it won't do that, believe me. It's an expensive lesson, since they don't give those away.

If it fails I will just buy the 440 pound model for $200. It's 34" wide vs. 30" for the 260 pound model and that was the reason I did not buy the 440 pounder so save floor space.

Check out the Walmart Mainstays 14" High Profile Foldable Steel Bed Frame with Under-Bed Storage. Several sizes have two frames. Keep one and sell the other. Get the full size for a 27" wide bed, queen size for a 30" wide bed, king size for a 38" wide bed, etc.
