Note the "Made deliciously since 1914" on packaging. I believe the ones I bought were only made as recently as 1986. I have a bit of a stomach ache now...

I hate it when I go to the store and think I'm buying all organically grown vegetables, and then get home to find that they are all just regular donuts.

I used to love those inexpensive prepackaged donuts/honey buns/sweetcakes but now they just taste disgustingly artificial. I can't even eat Entenmann's anymore.

Krispee kreme is what got me , I bought 4 thinking I'll eat 2 and then eat 2 later but then they were so good I gobbled them all down  .

On the subject of donuts - take a day old plain fry cake, split it like a bagel and toast it lightly.
Absolutely divine with some butter and/or strawberry jam!

I can resist donuts. Brownies are another story. A member of a group I am part of has been complaining about no chocolate treats at the meeting. Last night there were three plates of home made brownies and lindt chocolates.
I finally gave in and ate two brownies and a lindt candy. On the way out, I was offered a few brownies to take home. That I did manage to resist.
