How to be a successful YouTuber

Okay this has nothing to do with the course of being a successful YouTuber but it does have to do with YouTube All You YouTubers out there that have your own channels, the last week I am noticing a lot of videos have comments turned off can anyone tell me why that is or is it YouTube turning them off?.

And as far as the course goes I'm still waiting on them to email me video number two it has been 3 days and I have not got it yet so here's what I've learned so far you need a topic that draws attention from Watchers so you can get a following you need a minimum of at least a thousand followers which will get you a small income once you monetize your videos, I will let you know when and if I ever get video number two if anybody else is signed up for it let me know if you get your second video.

I watched a video were CaravanCaroline talked about turning her comments off. 

while I don't do the YouTube channel thing, I have owned/ran a few websites and forums. Trolls and jerks can overwhelm a popular site. Also, comments can be time consuming to respond to. I don't think it is YouTube turning them off.  Just a guess, however.

Toooooooo much dribble.

What is dribble?

A Youtube creator talking too much and/or the film footage doesn't get to the point AND he or she video is 5 minute & longer.

Yeah I will have to agree with you there some of these YouTubers don't get to the point and they just ramble on and on and on and on but depending on the YouTuber and if they're funny and entertaining I believe I could watch all the way through but the boring ones I usually unsubscribe LOL.

Boy you got that right.

So many tubers are making 20-30 minute vlogs....who wants to watch that?

5 to 10 minutes is plenty. 

If its an instructional video, or a long format video of an event, that's fine, they will be longer. 

But yabbering for 20-45 minutes about your day, or yourself, or your feelings about another youtuber or whatever seems boorish. I just dont click on those very often, but if I do, I will skip thru it till I see something in the scene that changes.  

I think a lot of the long-format vlogs are created for, and based on, the monetization algorithms:

Longer vids mean more ads, and more viewers watching longer, which sometimes means that the video will be 'recommended' more often.  

I've had a youtube channel for 11 years, completely un-monetized. I don't care at all if anyone watches or likes any of the videos...cuz 10 views pays the same as a million views. Zero dollars and zero cents!

When you upload a video, or later on, you can disable comments. Usually this is done when the uploader feels that there will be too much negative feedback.

But there is a price to pay....fewer comments usually means that the video will not be recommended as often, since there is no user interaction.

If you don’t have anything to say just don’t get in front of your camera. Nobody cares what color you are going to dye your hair or wants to listen to rambling. Just makes those people look boring and foolish. You look exceptionally pathetic if you start whining and begging for money. Nobody wants to support your lifestyle and the majority of people that watch are other vandwellers who don’t have money themselves.

On the other hand if you have great content or instructional videos fire away. A funny dog or cat can get a huge amount of views - much more than you looking into your camera droning on about your day. Make some money - put your animals in there

Interesting that is some good information I want to start me a YouTube business and create video entertainment to make money so I can quit my job, focus on making videos full time so all these tips you guys bring up are very helpful thank you.
