Hi All

I see these vans around town and they usually have signage on them

They don't look terribly out of place but they are big

I am talking about the sprinter 3500 158 inch wheelbase

I am worried they might stick out in a residential area

Thanks

I agree with Patrick "you act stealth, you are stealth", but a big van like that is begging for some signage on it with your cell # that just goes to a recording :)
Think carpet service, plumber, any type of contractor, etc... They do somewhat stick out, but in a residential area it just looks like your "on the job".
A great sign are those magnetic ones you can quickly take off if not needed.. Just a thought... I spend about a month a year "stealthing" in north county San Diego surfing and have never been hassled in my van. Come in after dark and lay low and show no interior lights and 95% of the time your probably good.

Lots of sprinter vans are used by expediters. I wouldn't park in a residential neighborhood, nosy neighbors want to know. But at walmarts, lowes, etc, it fits right in. Off topic a little, before getting a 3500 I'd suggest looking at the 2500. The 2500 has more room inside (the wheel wells), and gets better mileage. Lots of expediters use the 2500 and they haul all the freight they can with them.
