My last post in this thread I forgot to headline it as Thought 4 the Day……. And I apologize 4 just slapping up some shallow 1 line drivel.

Ooops my bad. Keep in mind tho; it’s My Thawt no matter how shallow & superficial. It’s not like I’m actually tryin 2 advise u what to ponder on 4 any given day. I mean hell; it’s my Capytun’s Lawg thread so it’s really not 4 or about any1 that mite read it to actually comprehend lil lone sum1 that bothers themselves with a response. None of this stuff I write is really worth the effort 4 u lil lone b offended by tho obviously some have been. 😂

Although; I won’t deny the fact that I think there have actually been maybe 4 posts by others to this thread that I actually did find interesting, informative, intelligent and/or upbeat. But most and there haven’t been many but most responses weren’t worth reading as I could tell they really don’t have a clue what I’m writing about. Harvard U studies have shown however that a sense of humor is actually A sign of intelligence & intellectual depth - should I include a Harvard source link?? Well feel free to google.

Periodically tho I try to add some pictures cause well most peeps like to look at pretty pitchurz…….

Well you did refer to your own posts as toilet paper at one point, if I'm not mistaken.

So, have you taken the trouble to inform yourself on the forum's basic rules for posting? That might be a good thing to get knowledgeable about.

And do you know enough about the art/science/craft of writing to know that it's the writer's job to make sense, not the reader's job to read the writer's mind? If you don't feel like people are understanding you, you could, say, try to write more clearly. This isn't a word dumpster, it's a place for equal humans to have conversations. With each other.

Your contempt for the people around you is showing through in almost every post. If any of that stuff was meant to be funny, here's a challenge that any real humorist would happily take on (because, you know, actual artists like challenges): Try to be funny without putting anyone down.

Hmmmm; oh ma gosh gottalot 2 catch up on; its been a couple years and , damn, its been 5 years back since I started vomiting all over this thread - musta been something I ate or breathed - idk soooo long ago I don't remember.
Thought for the day:
"Life is not about maintaining a genetic past but , rather, preserving its future alteration" - Me

I''m going to write today about the most important thing in vehicle living. Guess? The Vehicle! In particular mine. I mean hell I can't write about anyone elses - that's their deal.
Also, I need to write some on apparently how I'm becoming more & more like Socrates who was accused & executed for "Corrupting the Youth of Athens"; or in my case "Corrupting the Youth of Amurahka"........ Geesh, is it really my fault that I'm not only successful & free but undeafeated, as well. Young peeps dig it - you know this old long white haired dude living Life so happily, healthily, freely with an utmost joyful flavor - The Beach Bum Extraordinaire! beating the system, thumbin ones nose at it, etc.

Ok, ok I'm not sayin I've never fumbled the ball or not thrown an interception from time to time or run out of bounds; even tackled for a loss but I've always won the game. Yep; I gave this World more than enough opportunity to kill me as a young man and I don't think that its my fault at all that it did not succeed...........
.........and now that I'm in my 60's; well its only fair & just, I think that its now time for The World to pay the consequences. Haha.

First, I played their game by their rules and I won.
Then I played their game by my rules and I won.
Then I played my game by my rules and I won.

Yep, undefeated. 3 and O...........!

I'm still waiting for "Them" to come play my game by my rules; gutless cowards that they are.
I'll talk more about my vehicle in the next post. Ciao.

Ok yes; its time to jaw about my truck that I live in/out of for about 7 months out of the year when I'm not living at Kamp Koon. Its a 2015 F 250 regular cab 4x4 8' box pik up truck with an ARE topper on it. Somewhere back aways in this thread I've described it at least to some extent if you're interested in backtracking..........

I've made modifications to the living arrangements over the years which I'll go into in abit but first I want to jaw about the vehicle. I bought this truck brand new as I have all of my vehicles since the late 1970's. Optimally if you are going to be a vehicle dweller for an extensive period of time to the extent that you will be embracing the vagabond vehicle living lifestyle........ optimally I prefer to purchase the vehicle of my choice, brand new. I get to break it in and I always know what I have as a vehicle.

Proper Care & Maintenance is utmost as well as my truck is not simply transportation but its also my house/home. Every year when I return to Kamp Koon here in West Central Michigan, I drop it off to the Ford Dealership and I have them go over the truck from top to bottom; inspect and do maintenance/repair anything & everything that might even look like its ready to be replaced or worked on. A break down on the road is not something I care to deal with. Ounce of prevention is worth a TON of cure; thaz where I roll frum.

Presently, my rig/home is 7 years old now with 120,000 miles on it. Also, I always have a Ford Dealer do any & all work wherever I'm at in Murahka because well its a Ford and because there is a continuity of record in Ford's nationwide dealership maintenance computer records. Plus I don't trust local homegrown mechanics shops strewn thru out the country. I just don't know who is reputable and who isn't in a given lil place that I'm just rolling thru on........... When I had my Suburban it always went to a Chevy/GMC dealership.

I pondered bying a van this spring - mercedes, ford, dodge, even the express and researched with every intention of moving to van but! I decided against it. But if i was going to make the move I would have moved into a Dodge Promaster. Eliminated the mercedes sprinter because of cost to purchase, cost to maintain, cost of diesel fuel and the fact that Chevy, Ford & Dodge dealerships are in every lil 2 bit town all across Murahka. I eliminated the Ford because I don't want rear wheel drive and I don't want all wheel drive. SOooo Dodge Promaster got my approval basically by process of elimination.

BUT then I decided I'm just going to stick with my F-250 4x4. Hell I really don't need more room. I mean **** all i really do most of the time is sleep in it or sit on top of the thing at a beach chillin or grooving........ So just don't need to spend $$$ buying a new van.

Problem (that wasn't really a problem) solved.
Ciao..........INTJohn

Stayin with my truck and maybe a cuple open house pix but first.........
Thought 4 the day:
No matter how much you might be takin a liking to Tom Cat: when he ain't sensing the karma; like every tommy cat he just gunna go his way without a sound or a gah by and a complete ignoring of the scene. You won't even notice that he's left; you'll just realize - ****! Tommy has never come back?!

Here's home sweet home.

......awhile back I raised the "bed frame" several inches so I could fit my 20 gallon water tank under the bed and yet store my portable solar panel above it. Also added the white wheel well storage box. I was pricing them out on the internet and they wanted 200$ for a plastic one: 300 to 500$ for diamond plate aluminum and 400 to 700$ for steel. I was like ****! i can make one out of junk boards I have layin around in probably about 2 hours soooz thats a what I did.
Also, moved my 12 volt connectors & added a new JL Audio amp along with some Polk Atrium 6 outdoor speex. Gotta have my tunes!
Well, enjoy the tour.
Jonny Boi out.

John,
Thanks for sharing. Keep posting, it's fascinating. You should write and publish a memoir (like you have started here).

I have a bunch of stuff to post if I ever get to it but these pix are so spectacular that I pushed them to the front of the line.
Was fortunate to take them this past Friday evening of a gorgeous Lake Michigan sunset along with a Great Lakes freighter literally eclipsing the Sun precisely at the time of the Sun setting.

Zoom in you’ll see the freighter approaching from left.

Freighter eclipse & sunset complete.
What are the odds of sunset, freighter & myself being completely aligned and add in the spectacularly colorful aesthetics. Amazing!

I like what you did with the flip-up sides and mesh screens for airflow.

Hmmm......
…….as jonny boi chuckles. Those screens are for bug repellent. In particular muskeetos! Few years back was at Holly Beech in Loozyanna and the skeeterz bout ate me alive. Had all I could do to regain blood loss, getting my red blood cell count back up to something near that might guarantee survival…….

So when I returned to Kamp Koon in Michigan I had my old boat canvass guy tailor those screens for those side door openings. 200$

By the way, on a side note, only female skeeters suk ur blood. The dudes well they like flower nectar like bees, butterflies & hummingbirds.
Sayin……..
jonny boi keepin female skeeterz away

Oh yeah...skeeterz....well you gotta have rain and some standing water around...and because of this severe drought we dont have either...I forgot all about those pesky things.

I can’t lie about the fact of my personal admiration for the courage & wisdom of Socrates in all he did & said - and what he did not say. This sarcastic, mocking, audacious, brazen & enamored monster who was the pied piper of Athens who made the most arrogant youths tremble, sob & bawl.
He was not only the wisest of speakers who ever lived: he was more great in his silence…..

Why should I beautify & embellish Murahkan Kultur and it’s philosophy of Monetary Materialism, which seeks only to enslave the life’s blood of its citizens thru an agreeable indentured servitude??
Why should I? It’s cities & communities everywhere do nothing toward the Nomadic Vagabond but wage a cruel & deadly war against us; it places all of the independence; the individualism; the free spiritedness of the Vagabond under a ban; and from this Cultural definition calls the Nomadic Vagabond nothin but “Evil”; reprobate & reprehensible……
INTJohn

How can I not continue? This Culture of hypocrisy that within its borders sides with all that is weak and base & worshiping its failures?

It contradicts all it says & all it stands for: “land of the free; home of the brave”! While it seeks to destroy the very instincts of any strong, healthy, independent, individual, actually living a life of freedom as a nomad; a vagabond.

Murahkas Society has corrupted its values & reason against us; that our strength as the solitary & shy person I desire to be; that in fact I am! Is something disgusting, sinful embarrassing to those many who willingly allow themselves to be enslaved. They yell to their children - stay away from that! Don’t run away on your wheels. Children! Be like us free Murahkans ! Mortgages & payments drowning in our debts!!

Don’t live like a vagabond or the nomad. Living free and discovering who they are- what they are.
Yes that is me. The Nomad & The Vagabond: both a Who and a What.
Yes they finally describe me……correctly.
INTJohn

But now that "They" have finally described me correctly, I think its time I correctly describe myself, for who & what exactly is this Who & What?
Or, more descriptively I give an account of the nomadic Vagabon as I percieve this person to be and how they live for make no mistake there are an infinite number of ways to live as Vagabon. But in my case I'm referring to that person who Chooses; this is an important distinction! For many find themselves in a Life's situation where they are forced to live as an ascetic; like an ascetic but for them the experience is no spiritual enlightenment! No, just the opposite and for this person it is not something they care to repeat. They can't wait for the misery to end. I won't elaborate further. You get the picture. Perhaps you even are "the picture"......... but let me set that aside, at least for now. For I am not "that picture" but just the opposite.

This lifestyle is one of Choice by oneself for they care to only see everything, eat of everything, expereince everything and today in this modern era one can do that - we Vagabons can do all of those things and deprive ourselves of nothing of this world or what Earth offers to us. with joy, fervor & playful discovery.

No! The Vagabon is hardly an ascetic, tho they may be on their spirited journey. Yes! This Healthy Vagabon is both Jesus and John The Bapsitst; the one living in the wilderness wearing animal skins and eating insects & nectar; the other embracing Culture as a bohemian eating & drinking; a glutton & winebibber...........well, in my case, gin.:)

Yes, the healthy Vagabon is both God & Beast!
