House Truck Nearly Complete

I had a TON of alone time as a truck driver and I'm expecting to settle in to this fairly easily as well only I'll have my dog and cat with me.

Interestingly enough I actually like to be around people but not in a highly social way.  You'll probably get what I mean by that.  The dispersed camping is very attractive to me; within sight of others, waving and a little small talk while walking the dog, occasional coffee/tea time but not necessarily parked right next door.  Being completely alone would make me feel uncomfortable if it was more than a few days if my insecurity decided to pay me a visit.

If everything pulls together I'll be down before RTR, probably towards the end of Nov and leave AZ in April.  I'm going to look at properties in NM then come back up here to WA and tie up loose ends before escaping the PNW for the long term.

I'm in the Pacific Northwet (NOT misspelled, believe me!) too...I do get what you mean.  I like the idea of dispersed camping for the same reasons.  I do hope I make some friends though...I like cooking for people and hanging out a bit, just not too often.

Our "dry" weather is about to end. I'm really going to be happy not spending another "wetner" here. Rain is awesome but not weeks on end or for almost an entire season! Hope you can still get a lot of work done! I have SAD so once that rainy season starts my energy plummets!

Have you tried one of those lamps? I don't have SAD, but I use one every morning to keep my sleep schedule on track. Great way to banish morning grogginess as well.

I'm lucky not to have SAD. I've known people with it, and it's really hard living this far North with it. Heading towards sunny weather should be great for you!
