Does anyone use the honda eu1000i generator? I would like to know the number of amps I could expect to put back into my deep cycle marine battery using this gen and a 12v AC charger in an hour of operating the gen. thanks

I found the specs and it states it has a 12v 8 amp output. Is that 8 amps per hour running?

thanks

You don't want to use the charging cords that come with the Honda, to low a charge rate and it's dumb and not "smart".

I use a smart battery charger that charges at a rate of 30 amps an hour, so I can put in 30 amps in one hour if the battery is low. It's also a battery jumper, so I can jump a vehicle from the Honda genny if the starting battery dies. This is the one I have:
