Goshawk, I really think more communities with money are going to go this route. I am on a board of directors for a homeless/housing agency. They are coming to see while housing vouchers can get many into housing, some people for many different reasons really don't do well living in a house (self included). Awesome bus!!!

dunno...it loads just as fast on my phone as PC.

But that thing looks like a rolling mausoleum...kinda creepy.

I think that in general tho, I'm feeling rather against this idea. Its strikes me as a rather absurd waste of money...they claim they need $50k for prototype, but honestly, does anyone think that something like that could be built and meet US govt standards/requirements for even triple that?

Someone here works on a project similar to Habitat, but putting people in refurbished mobile dwellings...I always thought that sounded like a neat initiative that I'd like to learn more about somewhere down the line. The majority of homeless are that way either by choice or as a result refusal (or inability) to make better choices...stationary homeless shelters are about the best bang-for-buck you can get for them. For the rest, those that need a safety net to get back up, there are many better ways to spend monies other than a mobile mausoleum, imo.

It had trouble opening on my laptop, and the dog videos kept fading out.  Never seen that before. 

Some members have limited usage, and I was just letting them know.
