For the past week and a half or so I've had my 1992 Class C Motorhome backed up at my employer's warehouse hooked into 110 power but no water. Last Wednesday I was able to get into an awesome RV Park in a full-time space. The previous owner hadn't winterized the RV so there is a 3" hole in the tank but the maintenance guy at the park was able to find me one online at a good price so I'll be ordering it next week. The other issue was the fridge...supposedly it was DOA but with the help of park staff we were able to get it working on propane but not electric.

They have showers, laundry and a lot of other amenities at the park so I feel really good about calling this home for a while. Rent is only $365 a month plus electric.

Plus, there is a canal about 20 yards out my door for me to walk my dog!

I've posted a few pics on my blog.

That's great, Dan! I love the canal for walking the dog. Happy you found a place you can afford for the time-being.

All right! I loved the RV Park I spent a summer in. You got a nice price, too. Mine was over $500.00 each month, and no, it was not a resort.

I'll make sure to check out your blog.

Good for you!

That's basically my retirement plan if I ever have to give up the road. Find a nice place to perma-camp.

Great Dan. Looks like a great spot for the RV and to stretch your dog and your legs. Have fun!

Nice place to hang out for a while. And nice price, too. Congrats! :)
