Not really sure where in the forum this belongs but I saw it tonight and thought what a great desk/storage hobby workspace in a van concept. When closed it occupies only 7-1/4" of depth, there is a foldout table area inside of it as well as storage shelves. This is a commercial project but they have conveniently given all the basic dimensions (in metric). So if one of your hobby skills is wood working and you need to work on a laptop and want to store it out of site when not in use this is pretty clever. It could swing open against one the the crosswise beds that are high for storage underneath and then close up to be out of the way. Of course if you are good at making project drawings you can vary dimensions for a personal build that best suits your space and needs.

It might also work for a kitchen area, butane stove, pans, dishes, spices, etc stored on the shelves and a fold out surface when you need to cook.
