Here’s a hitch mounted cargo box that telescopes to sleeping size. It weighs 240 pounds and can carry an additional 150. The design was originally to carry bikes, but is being marketed more broadly. 3k on Kickstarter now.

Interesting. Could be better then sleeping on a car seat and looks like it would be towable by almost anything.
