Sounds like it does not have much of a towing capacity or a strong roof. You will just have to work with what you have in terms of an interior capacity for sleeping or use an SUV tailgate tent. But if what you really want is a comfortable home on wheels you might consider trading it for something that has more abilities.

Have you looked at Runaway campers? 
http://runawaycampers.com  looks like they have a striped down model called "For Starters" that's about $3600 USD. 
I don't know how you feel about towing but these are light 700lb.ish. I have a home made 4X8 very similar to this. I don't fine myself crawling around in it, most everything is in reach just sitting in the door way. It might work with your knee. 
Just wanted to let you know there are less expensive TTT options out there. And Runnaway is not the only low cost manufacture out there ether.
