Hi, just joined the forum after a few days of browsing. I'm from the Chicagoland area. The whole micro/minimalist living things has always appealed to me. Really wanted to turn a shipping container into a home but zoning issues seem to be a headache, so next was the idea of living in a van, I love the idea of being mobile and for a while now have been trying to get myself setup to be location independent ie not having to show up to a 9-5.

Anyhow, just wanted to introduce myself and say hello. Look forward to meeting you guys.
