Just touched down in Denver - am from Kentucky - and I am love this place. I want to stay here for a while, so I have been applying for a couple cafe and minimum wage jobs. I haven't heard back from anyone and I am thinking it is because my address is out of town? Any idea if I get a mail forwarding service here, if I could legally use their address on my resume or is there a better way around this? Thanks anything helps !

Just get a PO box...cheap, easy and no legality involved. Kinda reminds me of my last trip to Miami actually...

Getting a PO Box will require 2 forms of ID, one must be a photo ID and a physical address. I know for us here, they did accept the address of an RV park.

Apply at the temp agencies, yep bottom bucket pay (Depending on your abilities/past experience) but they'll get you working faster.

Hey there, seconding the staffing agency idea. I've worked with Kelly Services and Robert Half in Denver, do not recommend RH Office Team, but other branches are okay. Kelly Services was pretty good about getting me employment quickly, and I've found the staffing agencies I've worked with have been understanding about strange circumstances; it's in their best interest to find something that works well for you, so they'll work with you to find something good.
