I have been watching cheaprvliving videos on youtube just recently. My name is Debra, and live in Tennessee.  RV living is something I have been thinking about for some time. I am sick of making house payments, insurances, taxes and just plain struggling. I am 66, still having to work part time just to survive, and thinking there has to be a better way. AT first, I thought I would have to have a travel trailer and a truck, but since watching the videos, I think it would be much more cost effective, and just plain easier, to get by on much less than dragging a big ass travel trailer around. I think if I sold the house and property, the cars and stuff, I could manage to get myself set up and hit the road. It is very validating to see so many like minded people and encouraging to hear their success stories, especially single, older women like myself. I would jump in today if I could but I know is going to take some preparation. My biggest hold up is my dogs. I have done rescue for years and they are my concern. In the meantime, I am going to continue to study and learn.  My only health concern is my messed up spine, but it is going to be bad wherever I am.

There is so much I would love to see and do before I check out. This is the only way it would ever be possible. Right now, I just feel trapped.

I'm so glad I found this forum!

So many people travel, full-time, with their dogs. You're in rescue your life has always been centered around what's best for your dogs. That won't change, although it can be slightly more complicated.

Welcome!

Just have something big enough for you and the dogs. Stay in cooler temps so you don’t have to run an AC
