I am currently making plans to live in my car and after much research decided on joining your site. I am 59 years of age and live on a fixed income. I own a 2004 Mailbu Maxx with 51000 miles on it. I am experienced with living on the road back in the 60's as I chose to run away from a abusive home. I have of course, become a member of the establishment, married, had children and several jobs. I am now disabled and collect ssdi. I want to return to this lifestyle and experience more yet to be discovered. I would like to visit this site often to pick up on new ideas. Thank you.

First off, sorry you came from an abusive home; it looks like you are a strong person to get out on your own back then, especially at that age.

Are you going to live in an urban area? Keep us posted on your endeavors!

Hi Mike, welcome to the forum. Several people here use a small car for a dwelling, a toyota prius and a corola that i know of. Hope you feel right at "home" here.
