Hey all,

My names Scott. I am a preacher...just so you know. Always freaks people out when they hear that so thought I would get it out of the way. I have been in ministry for 20 years and we have moved around a lot...about every three years.

I have a wonderful wife of 22 years and we have four children, the last of whom will be graduating this spring from High School...all of them are in college. That give you a little taste of where I'm coming from. I have a lot more questions than answers, but that's ok.

I have always had it in my mind to one day get an rv of some sort and travel around the U.S. and possibly preaching/doing my own ministry to help fund my travels. Not sure about that yet either, but one thing I do know. I have been reading a lot over the past few weeks. Purchased and read Bob's book and just about every article on the website. I also bought another book by Jason Odom and read it. Seems to me this lifestyle would fit me perfectly, especially as my kids are growing up, and it is just my wife and I.

That having been said, I have lots of questions. Things like what do you think would be the best choice for a couple to live in as far as vehicle? Love the idea of workamping and staying on public or BLM land. My wife and I are both from AZ, and we love the west, but have found ourselves in GA and in the south for most of our married life.

Do any of you see any sort of "need" for spiritual guidance/pastor/chaplain sort of thing in the campgrounds or area's you have been. Is that something that is even doable?

I have always had a sort of nomadic nature. I have loved moving to new areas and meeting new people, but after a few years it all seems to get old to me...I'm rambling now...just wanted to introduce myself. Don't know that I will have a lot to contribute, but will have lots of questions.

Thanks,

Scott
