I want to first say "Thank You" for all the great news, advice, and wealth of knowledge found on this site! I have been visiting it for a while and already have learned so much from all of you. I am 17 months from leaving the daily 9 to 5 security of the JOB. Even though my trip is 17 mo out, I am thinking it is time to start looking for my travel vehicle so I can make some mini-trips before I set off on my life long dream trip! I have a Dodge 03 Minivan that I will be selling and I am leaning toward a camper van that will be easy for me to drive and park (I currently drive around the block and around the block to avoid parallel parking...lol!) so a big RV is out of the question! I found this vehicle and wanted to get your feedback: http://www.campingworld.com/rvsales/detail.cfm?v=188951
I am not concerned with stealth as I hope to be staying at churches and with the people I will be interviewing on my trip. I look forward to meeting you all one day on the road!

Hi CoachTrish, welcome. Glad to have you here.
The campervan looks fine, but I have seen the same year for sale for $1500 less at other dealerships, and It pays to look around.
Hope to see more from you now that you have ventured out of " lurkdom"

Falcons are fine units. Ours is a '95. Low to average retail per NADA

I only included some options. If this unit is in real nice shape, and with those miles, the retail price may be higher. Than what's on the link above.

Check what's on the unit, run it through the above link with proper options, and see what you get. Units may go higher than the NADA value if they are popular.
You have to look at that unit, and decide for yourself if it's worth it.

Try offering 2500 or 3000 and SW what they say, if you like it.

We love ours, and plan to ask about 9000 or 10,000 for it. We're looking
at units with a 'bedroom' , such as a 28 foot B+ or a C for when we sell our house next spring.
