Greetings every one. I am preparing my rig for a run to the west coast and back to PA. The interior isn't done yet but mechanically she is sound. Wish me luck maybe I will see some of you on the road

Good Luck,  check your tire pressure when it is cool in the mornings before setting out,  then about every third day do the same.   Major influence on good gas mileage.

Keep a journal  in the "Captain's Log" to let us know how you are progressing each day.  Take some pictures to post of interesting things you saw each day if you can.  You may be glad you did it when you get back home.

Thanks for the info my rig isn't exactly fuel efficient. It's a 1947 Chevy custom panel truck with a 350. It's made to move along not really stealth. I am trying to raise funds this winter for my friends in need.
