<br /><span style="font-family: 'comic sans ms', sans-serif;"><strong>This will be my first winter in this thing, &amp; I was wondering if it's possible to heat it with only a single, 1500 watt electric heater.</strong></span><br /><br /><span style="font-family: 'comic sans ms', sans-serif;"><strong>I did it that way a few years ago in a 24' travel trailer I was living in, &amp; even though it was 50% bigger than this thing, it was a lot newer &amp; obviously more air-tight &amp; better insulated.&nbsp;</strong></span><br /><br /><span style="font-family: 'comic sans ms', sans-serif;"><strong>I'm thinking this is gonna be too small a space to heat with my Buddy heater, even on the lowest setting, besides which there'll be that low oxygen danger from heating with an open flame, necessitating leaving a window cracked.&nbsp;</strong></span><br /><br /><span style="font-family: 'comic sans ms', sans-serif;"><strong>Even though running an electric heater on high all winter would be extremely expensive, I think it would be worth it if it's even possible in this drafty, poorly insulated ol' dinosaur.&nbsp;</strong></span><br /><br /><span style="font-family: 'comic sans ms', sans-serif;"><strong>Opinions &amp; experiences?<br /><br /></strong></span>
 
Joey im in the same predicament, but live in canada and it gets really cold here. Ive got a mr buddy and a 1500 watt electrical heater. I think the key is to insulate it like crazy. Cover everything, and block off the cab area so that you just need to heat your sleeping area. I also crawled under my rig today and started insulating with wool and styrofoam. Everywhere i can jam some in.I plan to build some skirting around my rig as well.&nbsp;
 
Yep... insulate, insulate, insulate. I've been through many a Canadian winter in whatever rig I had at the time and never needed much in the way of heating cuz I... insulate , insulate, insulate! 1500 W is plenty. .. Willy.
