Sell it on Etsy. I sold antique and vintage jewelry for six years. Had zero to do with weight/cost of gold. That only matters when you sell for scrap. When you go to a jewelry store if they weigh the piece unless it weighs your hand down they’re screwing with you. Lots of nonsense tricks. Sometimes I go into jewelry stores just to mess with them because I hate the way they try and rip people off. I love when someone who can’t even hold a loupe properly tells me about the little stone he has. I take it from him and explain what he’s looking at LOL.
Has everything to do with the piece. Antique is crazy popular. Especially something as intricately worked as you have.
Unless the gems are of estate quality (I.e. huge) they don’t matter much in resale either. Exotic antique pieces like yours would be valuable. Do price comparisons on Ruby Lane, eBay, Etsy, google searches. I have my Graduate Diamonds Diploma from the GIA too.
I’m salivating over those earrings. If I had any money I’d buy them. Gorgeous.
