Hello good folks!  I am a retired woman who turned 65 in January - have a partner who is also 65 and together we share our life with Bach, a German Shepherd who will turn 6 this June.

We just bought a 1988 Ford Econoline camper van and are dreaming of hitting the road, part time to start and full time once we tie up the loose ends if all the health stuff checks out.  I named our vintage van vinnie with a lower case v.

We lived in California for 15 years and retired to Nova Scotia, where I am from, a few years ago.  We took early retirement and hope to have many years of freedom. I am a soap maker (along with other products) but willing to give it up to embrace a less hectic life.

Thank you all for your YouTube videos, your postings in here and making so much information available online.

Headed out from Denver to Nova Scotia and neighboring provinces in June. If you have any must see or do stuff, please let me know!

Oh fun -- I hope you get in touch if you have the time .. just msg me for our contact info - we have a lovely property on the Atlantic you might like to see.
A trip around the Cabot trail is amazing ... mind you the twist and turns are not everyone's cup of tea.  Cape Breton is where I live and it's an island attached to the mainland of NS by a man made causeway .. and Cape Breton is so beautiful.  You can't go wrong anywhere you go here but if you like off the beaten track more than the well known places, then just stop in at any of the small harbors .. can often buy the fish right from the hands on the boat. Lots of small churches out in the country where you can boondock ..  Happy traveling.
