First we have the Solar Panels, the MPPT and the Batteries. That is pretty much POWER IN.

Yes?

POWER OUT would be The Batteries, the Inverter and out to my 110v plugs. Right now, my 12v Auto Fuse panel is already 12v and doesn't need to be inverted, it's just simply stays connected to the batteries as it is now.

Yes?

It seems to me that the Power In side is pretty easy. The Power out side, getting all the wires from the various switches, sockets and lights to the fuse panel, (much like in a house) is the hard part.

Yes?

Excellent! Thank you!

I sure is nice to see that your second link mentions the people I am working with here in Oregon, AM Solar.

All of it is just positive to positive; negative to negative* and put in fuses in the positive line. If you use big enough wire and make quality crimps, it's no big deal.

*(Yes, 6 voltbatteries is the exception)

it sounds to me that you have the basics down. like bob says don't forget get you fuses. if you run into a problem ask away, a lot of knowledge on this forum. highdesertranger

I would like to think I have a grasp on the solar system, but every time I read handy Bob's sight I want to crawl into a corner and suck my thumb. It is a work in progress, but I am still learning...
