I spend a lot of time out camping/hunting/fishing in RVs.... I do have the ability to carry propane, but I have found that this "rocket stove" or other similar options work VERY well. &nbsp; They require just a few small sticks, twigs, even straw to cook on. &nbsp; They cost a bit, (I paid a bit over $100 on&nbsp;EBay) but if you consider the cost of fuel.... it doesn't take long to recoup that cash. &nbsp; They have 2 models, 1 for just wood, the other also uses charcoal briquettes. &nbsp;I purchased the 2 fuel unit.&nbsp;<div><br></div><div>Here's a link. &nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div><a href="http://www.stovetec.net/us/index.php" target="_blank">http://www.stovetec.net/us/index.php</a> </div>

Yeah, got one a while back, great lil stoves, love the free fuel feature, lol. I recommend em.&nbsp; However, there are videos, etc. out there on the web that shows how to build yur own for a lot less, practicaly nothing. <br>

That would work really well with the new invention from the Pinelands Eco Scienteers in NJ. These high school students invented a wooden press that makes just about any organic scrap into fuel briquettes that emit less CO2 and carbon monoxide than wood. Bridget Zarych's invention took first place in the Siemens We Can Change the World Challenge,<br />"we made wooden presses, simple wooden presses, and in these presses you can use agricultural waste such as peanut shells or pine needles, banana peels, corn stalks and sugar cane waste instead of using wood."<br />http://www.npr.org/2012/06/29/155992720/meet-the-energy-saving-gadgets-of-the-future
