Makes one wonder where the picture came from. Facebook posting? "Here is the high point of our vacation when we destroyed part of an ancient ruin that has been here for centuries".

Big  Brother IS  watching you. And if he isn't someone else is. And they have a camera and it will be posted on Facebook and YouTube.

Seriously, So many of the state and National Parks have streaming video. Many can be accessed on line. I saw a list just the other day and now I can't find it.

But, someone could have been close enough to take a picture but not up to confronting them. Understandably so.

sad, really sad. at first I thought it was going to be about stealing artifacts. but no they were just destroying ruins. highdesertranger

This makes me absolutely ill. I hope they catch these guys and instead of simply charging them money or incarcerating them, make them clean up the land and do other improvement-type work, for a couple years at least. That would certainly work better toward improving their lack of perception and caring about such things.

Edit: hmmmm, how did this show up in my feed as a current item?! Ignore.... :D

This thread is from 2015 which is why it didn't show up on your current feed DesertRose!

Interesting. Desert Rose made it show up on my View New Posts. :)
