My wife and were looking at a 2019 Ford f150 xlt v6

28k miles on it.It has been in one accident in front

They said they changed brake pads

Carcheck

Asking price 39k miles plus 3k taxes

Amounted to 42k plus 7k

We said no today

Looked at another one today felt good as far as mold.Same price newer model it's a Ford f150 2021 with less miles

Gold certified
Carfax report looks good
Was told if there are bad problems found by mechanics it would be found on carfax reports

Im concerned about stalling down the road if the manufacturer designed It with a stop/start glitch the would stall

Warranties Don't seem to have specific language on repairing this

For example I asked if the stop start function goes bad can you document an agreement that the ford dealer will fix it down the road

I was told it would be illegal to add to a contract

Are stop starts vehicle that are certified unlike the one that are certified safe?

Unlike old school trucks that didn't have this technology

Thank you
