Lulu it sounds like a wonderful set up and great experimenting from camping near home to a full blown road trip.
We also love truck stops Noise is not a factor for us, after a long day of driving I fall asleep so fast nothing wakes me and we love the free stops and conveniences they offer.
So happy you are doing so well and would love an update from you also
