Well I like it more than the Tesla offerings, and really, who needs to accelerate 0-60 in 4 seconds anyway?'

Not that I will be buying a $50,000 van anytime soon.

:dodgy:

Maybe long term means it made it off the lot, let's see what fell off!

My impression was this was a first look, hence the title.

Followup posts to come.

In that world more than a week is long term.

And lifespan maybe 5-8 years and at most 200K, so obviously not of interest to the dominant wrenchers here.

Treehugger had a couple of articles from a year or so ago.

New tech cost more when it is new. A lot of us here try to not spend a lot of money on something new but wait till it becomes cheaper because it has problems we can repair for little money. Who knows what will have to fix when we get one in the future or if it will be repairable money wise, s cost per mile becomes known.

I like it. It is a plug-in hybrid and can run on battery power alone for 33 miles. But I am hoping Toyota will offer this technology on the next gen Sienna as I'd much rather have a Toyota than a FCA.
