Firman Generators

I had made a deposit to "lock In" a price on a Champion Generator. When I went to pay for it today they would not honor the locked in price. Just a $50.00 difference but I don't like being lied to. They are putting my deposit back on my card.

A friend here has a Firman Generator and says it is outstanding with a three year warranty. Anyone have any experience with them?

No experience but how are you going to handle that thing...the 3000 W weighs a heft 93.5 lbs.

Oh and one review said you had to start it with the remote every 12 hours or else it reverts to manual start...something about saving the remote start batteries???
