Well shoot. Found a dealer in Prescott but they won't honor sale price. :(

get them shipped to you Jim shipping is free.  highdesertranger

I leave here Tuesday. Not sure How I'd get it sent to Cottonwood.

Oh man... I hope this sale is still running in 5 days.

Jim even in small towns there is usually a business that excepts packages. if there is not one ask some of the local merchants, tell them you will give them a few bucks if they will except your package. I have done that before when I needed a dive compressor asap. highdesertranger

had to look that one up John. for all you English speakers it means "General Delivery". some post offices do it some don't and some companies will send GD and some won't. highdesertranger

Jim, I saved my shipping places from last year! Pretty soon I'll be able have stuff come in all over the nation...

Call to verify that they're still around but here's where I had stuff shipped to last spring.

Nice guys, they even phoned me when my parcels came in. About the only thing they can't do for you is outbound UPS...there's a UPS contracted office in town but they can received everything from USPS, UPS, Fedex etc.

Thank you. I'll ring them in the morning. I am excited to get something to use as a freezer besides the tiny one inside my trailers fridge. It's hard to be a foodie and not have a decent amount of freezer space. The Whytner dual zone is what I'd like were it the same quality. Both it and the MT 45 weigh close to the same and will fit where I have space. The MR040 on the other hand is 20 pounds lighter, a consideration with my back.

I'll sleep on it

Do all of these allow the whole unit to run as a freezer?

The Whytner dual zone can be used as a fridge, a freezer or both.

It does appear that all of the Engel top loaders can also freeze. The specs all state 90 degrees from ambient but others report being able to freeze at 120 degrees ambient.

I've been  hemming and hawing about these things for months and I finally pulled the trigger on one of these last night.

It seems that these, the Dometics and the Whynters all have great reputations and these were on sale when I was ready to drop the cash.

Thanks, but as you said, Engel's the one for quality right?

I'd rather save my pennies longer and have fewer hassles down the road.

HDR, You just saved me a bunch of money.  I was getting ready to order one from Amazon.  Thanks

I don't have solar yet, but hate to pass on the sale. Can these work as a cooler until I get solar ?

I had a chat online and was told most items ship within 48 hrs and would take 3-5 days to me in Az. Limited stock and sale is over in a week.

In contrast the Whytner is more space and would be here Tuesday with Amazon Prime 3 day. Downside other than quality is as I understand they are louder.

Spoke with AZ and can have it sent there.
