One common complaint I notice is constant dust in the vehicle. Wondering if anyone has built and tried this clever device. Video here    If you're leery of clicking a live link, search youtube for Quality DIY Box Fan Air Purifier the "Comparetto Cube".  Originally saw it on recent Ask this Old House episode. Affordable, easy to put together, and highly effective. No mention of it on this forum. I'll be building one. Combined with a 12 volt air compressor to blow cabinets and surfaces  (of course wearing an N95 mask), believe it could keep dust way down

Let us know how that goes. My rig is covered in dust daily no matter what I do. I’ve kinda given up

Since it is winter and I have full hook ups I am running the cheap little ceramic heaters. About every 2 or 3 months they collect so much dust they turn white and plug up so bad the air comes out the back cause it is plugged up in the heating fins. I go outside and I put on my mask and use an air compressor to blow out the dust. Does that count? Lol!!! That is about as close to dusting as I get.

Yes let us know how it’s coming and how it works. It looks like a large piece of equipment that you can’t fold up and put away anywhere and of course you’re going to have to have an electric source to run it. I don’t think most battery powered fans would be powerful enough. You may know better good luck with it let us know.

Now dont be giving out any ideas for taking away my dust, it disguises the fact I have not mopped the floor, washed the windows and counters. That dust is a treasure, you just have to lea rn to go with the forces of nature instead of fighting it.

Its rained here for 2 days, we don't have a dust problem. LOL

"you just have to learn to go with the forces of nature instead of fighting it."

I agree with this statement 100%. what was that old TV commercial, "It's not nice to fool mother nature". Well it's not nice to try to buck her either.

Dust in the desert. I'm shocked.
Next I suppose there is humidity whenever one is close to a body of water.

Still trying to figure how one CRVL poster manages to camp dispersed in the desert, but never gets dust in their RV/Van/Whatever. Maybe they are in need of cataract surgery. Or has an airtight living space. [Wonder if they ever posted again.]

That there dust eating machine better get its energy by converting dust to energy. Going to be running 24 by 7 except when it rains/snows.

  Besides, dust eventually reaches a point where it doesn't get any dustier. When you can be comfortable with that, you become one with Nature, shedding the artificiality of modern life.  :D

Every sunny morning as my battery bank approaches 100%, I think, "now is the time to vacuum."

Then I do something worthwhile.

You have dust AND sawdust with that busy neighbor you have there. Haha!
I had to blow home to tend to a boiler that kept kicking out. Was just on my way back there... so here I am by my fire (woodstove) and -7F outside... but 70 in here! And no dust! Haha!

Baking is happening twice this weekend. Once on Saturday and once on Sunday. 1/2 boule for Cammalu, 1/2 for Jacque, 1/2 for me, 1 whole boule for someone I haven't met, but am told wants one. That leaves 1 1/2 boules up for grabs. Speak up if you want some, and claim whole or half.

I have been inside pouting about cold, wind and rain. If you think fishing in the rain is bad, you should try dutch oven/charcoal baking in the rain. :(

Rav. The gal that wants it left the area

Assuming not enough other people step up to the plate, I think I could handle a whole one...
