Travelers from East Coast to Arizona... Anyone wanting to Travel/Caravan together, with your own motorhome van or car.

Hi No Roots,  It's good to see there is such a thing as East Coast to Arizona travellers.  Sadly I will not be ready for some time. I just missed out on a rig I could actually afford.

Funny thing, it's been many moons since I was 16 years old and attempted to travel to Arizona.  I had my credit card, and the car was all packed except for 1 suitcase.  My mother greeted me as I was going in to collect it.

So now, after a more than full life, I'm attempting the same thing.

I'll be heading from PA to AZ sometime next month. But I don't have any travel dates set and will most likely head to Texas on my way to visit with one of my kids. It's almost time for me to get out of the east coast and go work in S. Cal for the winter. Need to be there by the beginning of November.

Still in New Jersey, just getting info from Oriental,NC I might be headed there in service of some friends for cleanup they are in need of heavy equipment operators. They have equipment, but no people. Still deciding.
Where at in Texas, I was in Galveston, San Antonio, Sequin and New Braunfels. Awesome place.

UPDATE I am on the road...Route 40 West just into Tennessee. On my way to ARIZONA I did go to North Carolina and all is well with my house and friends. I even had the pleasure of watching the president and his motorcade pass me in 17 in to New Bern. I could not figure out where all the vehicles went until I saw all the police cars. So, if you happened to see it on TV, I'm the white 11 foot high trail-lite motorhome they passed. Ha Ha...
Anyway if there are any nomads traveling route 40 west, hit me up we'll get a cup of coffee.

No roots, I don't know how fast you are rolling, but I have to slow it down. I will be crossing into NM tomorrow. I don't have to be at my destination in AZ until October 1. If you catch me, we will have that coffee.

Well, I made it to Tucumcari, New Mexico...I can't wait to see all of you in Arizona. Bummer no Bucee's on route 40, could of used some Wasabi Peas.
