In central KS this morning, we had an earthquake tremor.  Maybe 4 seconds but with hard shaking of the house and I could see the house shaking!  The dogs looked at me like "what to heck".  I see it was felt at least through TX also.  In a larger house with natural stone basement and foundation built in 1927, a 2nd floor above my head, I was thinking I would feel much safer on wheels with a couple of inches above my head and close to the door to the outside.

I did not like it!

Glad you are safe and keep it that side of the state line please. I think it would be ummmm unsettling.

Me, too, glad you're safe.
I felt the earth move years ago. In Alaska, in my living room outside of Anchorage (no, not the Big One). The ground started rolling, sort of like a roller coaster. Lasted a few seconds, then the rumble. Scary, and I'm glad it was no more than that.

I read that was a 5.6 magnitude that originated 90 miles northeast of Oklahoma City. Tied the previous record.

Did not feel that one.  Coming from an extremely active zone in N. CA, that did not effect me at all.

If you're in a car, sometimes you don't feel them at all.
